Making Room to HOPE

Capital Campaign for the Green Chair Project

The Green Chair Project is dedicated to renewing the lives of individuals and families recovering after homelessness, crisis or disaster. Since 2010, our volunteers and donors have helped us deliver hope by supplying essential furnishings and housewares to provide a sense of home. We are now growing and it’s our hope to double our impact on the lives we serve.

Consider giving a financial gift to the Home for Good Capital Campaign so that we can better meet the growing need for our support throughout Wake County and help more than 1,000 families per year.

A Heartfelt Foundation.
A Groundbreaking Future.

The Green Chair Project was founded when Jackie Craig and Beth Smoot, experts in real estate home staging, consistently found that homeowners had an excess of stuff in their homes. The answer was The Green Chair Project, where these surplus items are given to people who are starting over from a variety of hardships. Since then, we’ve served 2,847+ families, worked with 11,632+ furniture donors, and our team has worked 82,941+ volunteer hours. And we’re just getting started. With your help, we will be able to double our impact and make a bigger difference than ever.
